The Daily Sacrifice (Tamid): Daniel speaks of a future time when the "daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up" (Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11).

Yeshua’s Warning: In Matthew 24:15, Yeshua points directly back to Daniel: "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel..."

The Implication: For the daily sacrifice to be "put to an end" or interrupted by the anti-Messiah / lawless leader, it logically must first be re-instituted in an altar or Temple structure in Jerusalem.

Current Preparations: Today in Israel, organizations like the Temple Institute have recreated the sacred vessels, trained Levitical priests, and prepared red heifers specifically to resume these biblical services when conditions allow.

2. The Millennial Temple Sacrifices (Ezekiel 40–48)
The second and more comprehensive biblical account of sacrifices resuming is found in the final chapters of Ezekiel, which describe the Millennial Kingdom after Yeshua returns:

The Detailed Blueprint: Ezekiel chapters 40 through 48 outline a massive temple complex, an altar, and a functioning priesthood from the line of Zadok offering burnt offerings, peace offerings, and sin offerings.

The Purpose During the 1,000 Years:

The blood of animals could never permanently take away sin (Hebrews 10:4).

Understood in the Kingdom age, these sacrifices are not viewed as competing with Yeshua’s finished atonement. Rather, they serve as a memorial and physical object lesson for the mortal generations living during the 1,000-year reign—reminding humanity of the gravity of sin, the holiness of God, and the ultimate redemption accomplished by Yeshua.
